What Are They Marching For was officially launched this morning by Major General Angus Campbell on behalf of the Vice Chief of Defence Force at Defence HQ, Russell Offices, Russell, ACT.

This was a fantastic expererience and something that those in attendance will never forget. Images of the launch will be available soon.

The Australian Army Band - Sydney has signed onto the What Are They Marching For Project. Captain Rod Mason is assiting in the final orchestration of the song that was scored by Captain Dave Thompson of the Band of the Royal Military College, Duntroon. The recording will take place at the end of February, 2010 with the release of the CD/Music Video due out in April 2010.

BearCage Productions have signed onto the project to produce the long awaited Music Video. Mr. Doug Merriman, Executive Producer stated " (We) see your initiative as a worthwhile and significant opportunity." The music video will be shot on location in Canberra in early March 2010.

The Australian War Memorial (AWM) has demonstrated it's support for the What Are They Marching For project by providing unprecedented access to archival video for use in the upcoming music video. All profits from the sale of the CD will be donated back to the AWM to ensure the continued preservation of the memory of the men and women that made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

Following Pete's 2009 performance at the National EX-POW Memorial, Minister for Veterans Affairs, Hon. Alan Griffin MP has shown his support for "this song of national importance" in writing making What Are They Marching For the first commemorative song to be supported by an Australian Government.
